The Weekly Review

Our U10’s skipped training on Monday to go enjoy our local league of Ireland team St Patricks Ath down in Richmond park on Monday night. They got to show off there own skills at half time with a small game against Mourne Celtic albeit no goals in the senior fixture both kids teams scored a few goals to keep the crowd happy. A big thank you to St Pats  for the hospitality.

The 14’s also dodged training Friday night as they had the honour of being ball boys on the night for Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght stadium. It was a cold and wet night but the lads enojoyed the game with the best seats in the house. A big thank you to Shamrock Rovers for the hospitality.

It was great to have the small sided games back in action over the weekend all do the weather was not in our favour there was no hesitation in swapping fortnight for a wet mucky pitch. It was a tough game across all ages on both days but the kids got on with it.

Both our 12’s got off to winning ways Martins Saturday side just had the edge on Orchard Celtic to take a 3-2 win at home. Dave’s hard work paid off with the Sunday team as the lads coasted to a comfortable 5-0 away win against Kinsealy. The new additions to the team had a great game with Dru keeping a clean sheet between the sticks and franklin getting on the score board with one goal and two assists. As the manager said it was hard to single out any player for man of the match as it was such a fantastic team effort.
